11:00 AM left the house to go to RDU airport
Waited for everyone to arrive to check in (Samantha, Chelsea, Hannah, Jackie, and Bekkah)
Leave RDU at 2:15 PM
Arrive into Washington Dulles around 3:45 PM
Met up with Jennifer (flew from Atlanta) and Lauren (flew from Nashville)
Initially we were supposed to leave Dulles at 6:18 PM, but the plane had an emergency signal malfunction. We were on the plane for three hours before we left for Rome, Italy.
The plane ride was an interesting one. I never knew a plane could go so fast; it reached up to around 800 mph and an altitude of 37000 ft. It was nice to be able to see all of that from my seat.
As always, I felt extremely nauseated many times; especially during takeoff and landing.
